About

Ralph Benatzky (1884-1957), was an Austrian composer of Czech origin. He composed operas and operettas, such as ‘Casanova’ (1928) ‘Meine Schwester und ich’ (1930) and ‘Im weißen Rößel’ (also 1930). This release is a welcome addition to the Morbisch Operetta Festival catalogue. The spectacular production is conducted by Rudolf Bibl and features operetta stars Rainhard Fendrich and Zabine Kapfinger.
