Olivier Latry

French organist Olivier Latry was born in Boulogne-sur-Mer in 1962; following initial studies in his home town, he trained with Gaston Litaize at the Academy of St Maur-des-Fossés. After spending four years as titular organist of Meaux Cathedral in the early 1980s, Latry was named as one of the three titular organists of Notre-Dame (aged just 23), and was appointed professor of organ at the Conservatoire de Paris in 1995.
