This solfege and tablaturecourse is split into 4 parts:Unlike rock, pop music and other styles, jazz guitar barely use barre chords and either less open string chords. You will learn in the first part **the rythmics and chords used in jazz guitar.Thesecond part of this course concern the techniques used such as: ternary phrases, the sweeping, the use of octave, ghost notes...The third part is a repertory of phrases that will allow you in the end to built your own solos.Weare finishing this course with music pieces played by the masters: Charlie Christian, Django Reinhardt, Jim Hall, George Benson, Pat Metheny...The exercises and music pieces are recorded on the accompanying CD of this course.Most of the tunes are recorded at a normal tempo, followed by a slower version.
